Kit and Ace is a clothing brand born out of a desire to create luxury apparel that offered the same functionality as performance wear. Launched by JJ Wilson—the son of Lululemon founder Chip Wilson—and his wife Shannon, the Vancouver-based line is best known for its game-changing fabrics, like machine-washable cashmere.
Kit and Ace is designed around the principle of what to wear when you can't get away with yoga pants, but still want to be comfortable. Clothes to live in, not sweat in, a spokesperson says. The brand story on the Kit and Ace website says, "After spending years dressed head to toe in stretchy performance wear, they were looking for clothing that offered the same functionality but that met their desire for sophistication, style and luxury."
Now that the line has made quite a name for itself with stores across the globe, Kit and Ace is finally ready to make its mark in Houston by opening a location in Rice Village August 27th @ 2401 Times Blvd., Ste. 110.
