The annual Free Press Summer Festival in downtown Houston, Texas, is a celebration of indie music and art with eight different stages hosting 160+ live performances from buzzworthy emerging acts and legendary virtuosos. Other attractions include awe-inspiring fireworks displays, fun paint slides, provocative art installations, music demonstrations and artistic workshops. Past performers at FPSF include Jack White, Lauryn Hill, Vampire Weekend, Snoop Dogg, Bassnectar, Willie Nelson, Zedd, Weezer and the Flaming Lips.
We are getting together in Kingwood for a night of good fun, good food and of course good local beer! Each ticket will include 6 samples of local craft brews, that will help even the non-beer drinker appreciate the finer tastes! Plus an addtional tasting of a Home Brew crafted specially for the event. Each beer wasting will be specially paired with chef quality food designed to highlight the subtle notes of the local houston beers!

More than 300,000 people attend Pride Houston each year, making it the second largest parade in Houston and the largest Pride Parade or LGBT gathering in the Southwestern United States. The festival and parade are part of a week-long celebration.
The festival is packed with a wide variety of exhibitors, artists, music of all kinds, performers, stages, and fun. There really is something here for everyone. The celebration in the Montrose neighborhood focuses on showcasing music and entertainment from local LGBT artists and performers.
